Worship Services Awash in CHAUVET® LEDs

Lubbock, Texas – CHAUVET® fixtures intensely color performances of worship bands during weekly services and gatherings at Experience Life church. Acquired since 2007, the church’s LED inventory consists exclusively of CHAUVET® lights, now counting 36 various fixtures. Mark Tatum, worship pastor/campus director, installed the lights that bathe the stage in color.

Tatum built six vertical panels – 8- and 10-feet tall – of wood and plastic, each housing a COLORdash™ Par Tri fixture. He placed the panels symmetrically, three on each side of a central projection screen. Flanking the screen are two 10-feet tall panels, which are flooded with light from two COLORdash™ Par Tri fixtures. Four COLORdash™ Par Tri lights uplight from the base of the other four 8-foot-tall panels.

Used as backdrop lighting, 10 COLORdash™ Accent lights spread a subtle yet intense wash on the stage walls and drum set. From the floor, two COLORdash™ Batten fixtures shoot beams of color on two camouflage nets draped from the ceiling in a conical shape on each side of the stage’s center.

Four powerful COLORado™ 2 Tour fixtures are used as stage washes, while four COLORado™ Batten 72 Tour linear wash fixtures light the audience. Tatum controls 10 Intimidator™ Scan LED 300 scanners hung from the ceiling to match the rhythm of the music, lowering or intensifying the strobe frequency as needed. 

“The stage is flooded with color from all the CHAUVET® lights I have installed. I am very satisfied with their performance. Especially if you’re on a budget, CHAUVET® is the best option,” Tatum said.
